So much for getting right back on track in '09. There just aren't enough hours in the day. Here are a few of the highlights of the past few months just to catch up.

The Fall Carnival .... the boys pretty much hid from me but Miss Thing is always good for a few shots.







And let's not forget the cakewalk .. Oh, the dreaded cakewalk. My poor daughter would spend every ticket she had to participate in the cakewalk. She did really well though, all things considered. She rode the emotional rollercoaster over and over and over again and just missed at least five times by landing on the number next to the winner. I think it was the 10th or 12th time that her teachers couldn't stand it anymore and skewed the results slightly. Miz Thing came away with the mack daddy of all carrot cakes and got right back in line to do it again. We left for the night with two huge cakes - the other was chocolate and won fair and square!





The Indian Project where you put all the information you learned from your Mom's research in creative format. She did fairly well (with just a little glue help) and the pig was all her. Kind of a nice touch don't you think?
