Saturday 4/14

Another busy Saturday at my house .... whatever happened to relaxing weekends? It seems as though we always have one event or another going on. It's really hard to get your number one son to work on a Science Fair project when this is the view out the window when he wakes up in the morning!

Fortunately for me .. this science fair project involved eating M&M's so I was able to corrall the jumpers to help for a few. Of course Sunday's last minute putting it together is going to be a joy!

Dragging them away from the fun across the street, we're off to baseball. This is where number two son was able to shine. He really doesn't like catching much, but he's good at it. Whenever the other catcher (who thankfully loves it) isn't there, #2 has to assume the position (which quite frankly is how he interprets it in his little old man self). He did a great job and had three throw outs on kids who felt their legs were stronger than his arm ... NOT! Poor kid though, he always takes an error incredibly to heart and when the team gets down takes it rough. He so wants to be picked for allstars he feels the need to play his normal spot of SS to be recognized. I can't convince him that catching isn't easy and he can showcase himself right there as well. He has started pitching some this year which makes me a complete wreck. These are a couple of my cutie in his not favorite position and making a great hit. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of pictures keeping the book for the coach.
